Job Title: Senior Rugby Club Registrar

Overview:

Sevenoaks Rugby Club are seeking a Club Player Registrar to ensure adult players (men & women) are eligible to compete in league or social games, including National League 2 East. The role will be active throughout the year but can expect to be busy during pre-season in particular.

Responsibilities:

• Manage SRFC’s online registrations using the RFU Game Management System (GMS).

• Maintain and monitor SRFC registration records within GMS, including any contractual information and Right to Work and Passport information where applicable.

• Be available and responsive to support new players in navigating the registration process, sometimes at short notice.

• Manage the ‘Overseas Clearance’ process for non UK players

• Liaise with other clubs to ensure player transfers and loans are progressed within required timescales

• Manage payments to the RFU to ‘expedite’ registrations as authorised by the DoR

• Provide timely communication to the DoR/Team Managers/Coaches in relation to expected player registration timescales to inform selection processes

• Maintain current player registration guidance materials on the SRFC website
